There’s going to be a lot of one particular color that you’re going to see A LOT. You’re going to see it maybe on microphones and on finger nails and shoes and on like lights and stuff and all kinds of stuff and you might wonder to yourself, “man that’s a lot of one color, whats with the one color?” and I will explain it to you now! The way I see emotions in my head, I kinda compare them to colors, like for me, blue is sad. To me, like um yellow and gold, that’s comfort and warmth. There’s this one color that defines a lot of the emotions that I’ve been writing about lately. Really great emotions like frustrations, anger, jealousy, falling in love, falling out of love, heartbreak. All that good stuff, and you know, I wrote about that stuff so much that I even named an entire album after it, and I even went so far as to name an entire world tour after it. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, the colors that defines the emotions that shape us, that teach us things.
"I like to write songs like no one will ever hear them, I write more honest lyrics that way. I say things I wouldn't necessarily have said if I was thinking about all the people who would buy it someday. I try to imagine that this is just a song I’m writing like I’m putting a message in a bottle and throwing it out to the ocean."

Taylor Swift x David Guetta | ‘Red Titanium’ (MASHUP)

I wrote a song called ‘Red’ and thinking about what that song means to me and all the different emotions on this album they’re all pretty much about the tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships I’ve experienced in the last two years. All those emotions fanning from intense love, intense frustration, intense jealousy, confusion, all of that in my mind, all those emotions are red. There’s nothing in between, there’s nothing beige about those feelings and so I called my record that.

Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you’re already flying through the free fall.
